We’ve got another double dose of Monday Night Football in Week 3, kicking off with the Eagles vs Bucs contest. There’s no shortage of star power headlining this tilt, with names like Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith and Mike Evans sure to draw plenty of action in the Eagles vs Buccaneers props market.

This matchup actually sets up quite nicely for Evans – more on that later, but the same cannot be said for his teammate Rachaad White. The sophomore RB is the first target on our Monday Night Football props card, as we’re looking to fade him in multiple categories.

White currently boasts a rushing yards prop of 48.5, a number he’ll be hard pressed to eclipse against a very strong Philadelphia run defense.

MNF Prop #1: Rachaad White Under 48.5 Rushing Yards

Through two weeks, no team has allowed fewer rushing yards than the Eagles. Philly is yielding just 41 rushing yards per game to enemy offenses, and a minuscule 2.9 yards per carry.

White is a lot of things as a football player, but efficient is not one of them. He’s got a 3.6 yards per carry average over his two NFL seasons, surpassing 41 rushing yards in only one of his past seven games.

I was in on Rachaad White this offseason because I thought his receptions would keep him from being a total bust, but I fear I may be wrong if something doesn't change quickly. His vision is just terrible and despite great blocking he misses the holes.

Not only is he not efficient, but he’s also not very explosive. White’s longest carry this year is 13 yards, and dating back to last season, he’s hit the over on his longest rush prop in only two of his past nine outings.

Also working against him is the fact that the Buccaneers are 5-point underdogs. That line suggests they’ll be playing from behind, making them more likely to throw in catch-up mode.

MNF Prop #2: Dallas Goedert Over 39.5 Receiving Yards

Both of these teams actually struggle defending the tight end position. Entering Week 3, no team had given up more receptions to tight ends than Philly, while Tampa Bay also ranked bottom-five in that category.

That sets up well for Dallas Goedert, who rebounded nicely in Week 2 after a quiet season opener. Goedert hauled in six of his seven targets against the Vikings, and went for six catches and 92 yards against the Buccaneers when these two squads last met. Expect him to get plenty of looks from Hurts in this contest making him a great buy in the Week 3 NFL player props.
