As a football writer it is very rare that I get to say that the home side are at an utter disadvantage. Stuttgart have an abysmal home record with only 5 points from 10 games but their away record is staggeringly different. They sit 5th on the away table, having taken 1.18 points per game on average. Their away form is only surpassed only by the likes of Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich. But because this is a home tie for Hubb Stevens’ side, there can only be one winner. Last year’s runners up, Borussia Dortmund, have achieved two consecutive wins for the first time since 13th of September 2014. They look excellent value to make it 10 points from 5 games since the Christmas break and heap more home misery on 18th placed Stuttgart.
