Despite having superstars Leo Messi and Luis Suárez, the combined value of the Mexican champions’ squad surpasses Miami’s.

CONCACAF boasts a number of economically powerful clubs – especially in Mexican and North America soccer. A good example is Inter Miami, who turned the transfer market upside down last season when they brought in Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba. During the offseason they lured another big name player, Luis Suárez.

However, despite the fact that they managed to bring together four former Barcelona stars, the current Liga MX champions is surprisingly worth more than the Herons’ squad in terms of overall market value. Most of the 25 players in the América squad have a value of six ps and some of them could well have a future in Europe.

América is worth more than Inter Miami

Club América’s squad has an overall combined value of $103 million, while Inter Miami’s is valued at $97 million. Not a great deal of difference but the cost of the Mexican side’s squad is higher according to data from Transfermarkt.

The most expensive player in Miami is Leo Messi who is valued at $38 million dollars. He is followed by Facundo Farías and Tomás Avilés both worth $5 million, while Luis Suárez has a value of $4 million.
